Our story
From contract manufacturing to software.
Boardera was founded in 2020, after years of firsthand frustration with how circuit boards get built. It started with a company eager to bring innovative electronic products to market, only to hit persistent design and manufacturing errors. They took matters into their own hands and became contract manufacturers, and found the problems were systemic, not incidental.
That experience became the company. We build design intent capture, quoting, and ordering software for the PCB industry, combining expertise in electronics design, contract manufacturing, automation, and web software.

What we build
A customer-ready platform that automates quoting, project requirement validation, and ordering (usable as an online storefront, a back-office CPQ tool, or both), and DECODE, the analysis engine that reads a design package and reports its cost drivers and manufacturing constraints.
